The Texas Bluebonnet Allegro club rallied at Buckhorn Lake RV Resort in Kerrville, TX. We had 11 member coaches and two guest coaches.
Most arrived Wednesday and were invited by a member of the rally group who is an Elk to the local Lodge for burger night. Angus burgers or grilled chicken breast sandwiches were served up.
Thursday night we had dinner at the cafe at Buckhorn resort.
Friday some of the ladies toured the Hill Country and Mo Ranch, a Presbyterian retreat. Some visited various places around Kerrville and one couple of our new prospective members went kayaking on the Guadalupe River in Kerrville, spotting many ducks, ducks, and turtles. Our hosts fed us a fine dinner of Italian wedding soup, chili, and beef stew followed by dessert of cheesecake and chocolate lush. The evening was spent playing court Whist which everyone enjoyed.
Saturday was started with breakfast at the Care at Buckhorn, followed by our business meeting. Shorty thereafter, Chip Bennett led our Tech Talk where several items were discussed. Many enjoyed just having Saturday afternoon “off” to do whatever. Saturday evening we went to “Rails” a cafe at the depot.
Sunday morning a light continental breakfast of coffee, fruits, and muffins was served where everyone said their goodbyes until the next rally at Sunset Point in Marble Falls, TX February 10-14.
